Front Staff: Check-in was great! Staff was knowledgeable of the area and hotel operations and very friendly. Be prepared to pay upfront for your stay.Location: Great location! You would have to sell a kidney to find a good/free parking place in downtown Vienna. The streets are narrow and add a few thousand tourists who might not pay attention to the roads, the driver of the vehicle would need to pay close attention to driving/navigating the city centre area. What makes this location a superlative choice, was with a 24/48/72 hours pass you can buy at the Metro (subway) station, you can ride various public transportation modes, (bus, Strassbahn, subway (U-Bahn)) and not have to take your car. Great public transportation system and the closest subway station (Huttledorf: "U4" line, colored green) is within walking distance from your room. It is an 18-20 minute ride to the city center once you are on the train.Room: Great location overlooking the entrance and able to see the parking lot from my window. Windows open wide to allow fresh air in. Sturdy construction which closes well and provide measurable security. The room also has a safe you can program with a 6-digit code to keep valuables (spare car key, money, passports). One may change the room's thermostat to your liking, but even when dialed down to 15C, the exhaust vent was located so high that it seemed to only keep the temperature moderate. There is plenty of space for storing clothes and extra blankets and pillows are in the closet. Bathroom: Modern, soap dispenser in the shower did run out. Controls - good working order, clean. Breakfast: None provided or offered. No issues here. There was a vending machine down the hall that offered water and soda (no diet soda) for about 2.00 euros each with water being the cheaper of the two options. Some snack were also in the machine as well.

The hotel is well located; with green areas in the surroundings, with gas stations, supermarkets and several options of restaurants quite close, also the AuhofCenter (shopping mall) is not far. The hotel staff was very friendly at all times. The receptionist (Patrick) gave me recommendations for places, restaurants and coffee shops to visit during my stay in the city of Vienna. As a traveler, I like to receive that kind of attention from someone who knows the area.
